If you’ve received a PDF copy of your eVisa, we typically recommend that you print two copies to carry with you when travelling. While not always mandatory, a printed copy can help avoid unexpected issues at the airport or border.
🖨️ Printing Your eVisa
We suggest printing because:
- Some airlines or immigration officers may ask to see a physical copy
- System errors or connectivity issues at the airport can make it difficult to verify your visa
- It serves as a reliable backup if you can't access your email or phone
Don’t worry, we include clear instructions in your delivery email so you’ll know exactly what’s needed for your specific destination.
❌ Printing Is Not Required for an eTA
If your travel authorization is an eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization), there’s no need to print anything. eTAs are electronically linked to your passport, and you won’t always receive a document to print.
This includes:
- Australian eTA
- Canadian eTA
- New Zealand eTA
- Sri Lankan eTA
- United Kingdom eTA
- United States ESTA
🧳 Travel Tip
Even when not required, bringing a printed copy of your eVisa is a simple way to ensure smooth travel. It’s always better to be safe than sorry.
