You can use your South Korea eTA to enter the country through all major international airports, seaports, and land borders that accept electronic travel authorizations.
What You Need to Know
Most travelers arrive in South Korea via Incheon International Airport, Gimpo International Airport, Gimhae International Airport, or Jeju International Airport, all of which accept the eTA. The eTA is also valid for entry at designated seaports and other official border checkpoints. Regardless of your entry point, immigration officials will verify your eTA electronically using the passport linked to your application.
Our Recommendation
Plan your arrival through major airports when possible, as they offer the smoothest entry process with eTA verification. If you’re entering through a seaport or smaller airport, check in advance that the facility is approved for eTA arrivals.
A Quick Tip
Always travel with the same passport used in your eTA application, since your authorization is digitally connected to it and cannot be transferred.
