Uganda eVisas can be extended online through the official Uganda eVisa website here.
What You Need to Know
If you hold a valid Uganda eVisa or permit, you can request an extension by using the “Extend/Renew” option under the Applications menu on the government portal. To extend, you’ll need your:
Application ID of the visa or permit to be extended
Passport number used for the application
Date of birth
Extensions must be completed before your authorized stay expires. Overstaying may result in fines, penalties, or difficulties with future travel to Uganda.
Our Recommendation
Apply for an extension well before your 60-day stay ends to avoid last-minute issues. Make sure you have your application details ready when submitting the request. sherpa° can guide you through the process if you need assistance.
A Quick Tip
Set a reminder a few weeks before your permitted stay ends so you have enough time to submit your extension request without stress.
