A Uganda eVisa generally allows a single entry into Uganda. Once you leave the country, you cannot use the same eVisa to re-enter. If you plan to return, you will need to apply for a new eVisa.
What You Need to Know
With a valid Uganda eVisa, you can stay in the country for up to 60 days from your date of entry. The eVisa must be used within 6 months from the date of approval. Since it is a single-entry visa, travelers who plan to visit neighboring countries (such as Kenya, Rwanda, or Tanzania) and return to Uganda should plan accordingly and consider applying for another visa if needed.
Our Recommendation
Carefully review your travel itinerary. If your plans include leaving Uganda and coming back, make sure you apply for a new eVisa ahead of time to avoid delays or complications at the border.
A Quick Tip
Keep in mind that your entry is always subject to the final decision of Ugandan immigration authorities. Carry a printed copy of your eVisa approval and supporting travel documents, as you may be asked to show them when entering the country.
