An Indonesia eVisa or eVOA is valid for entry through designated international airports, seaports, and land border crossings into Indonesia.
What You Need to Know
Travelers with an approved Indonesia eVisa or eVOA can enter the country through any official port of entry, including major airports like Soekarno-Hatta (Jakarta), Ngurah Rai (Bali), and Juanda (Surabaya), as well as popular seaports such as Batam Centre and Benoa. Entry is also permitted at recognized land border crossings like Entikong in Kalimantan Barat and Mota’ain in Nusa Tenggara Timur. There are currently no known restrictions on specific entry points for eVisa or eVOA holders. However, travelers arriving at non-designated entry points may be required to hold a physical visa instead.
Our Recommendation
Before traveling, verify that your point of entry into Indonesia is an official port of entry that accepts eVisas or eVOAs. Check for any recent updates from Indonesian authorities that may affect your entry.
A Quick Tip
Carry a printed or digital copy of your eVisa or eVOA approval along with your passport when arriving at the border, as immigration officers may ask to see it.
