A New Zealand eTA is valid for entry through all major international airports and cruise ports in New Zealand.
What You Need to Know
Travelers with an approved NZeTA can enter New Zealand through official ports of entry, including major international airports such as Auckland, Wellington, and Christchurch. Cruise ship passengers can also use the NZeTA to enter through approved seaports. However, overland entry is not applicable since New Zealand is an island nation, and all entries must be made via air or sea. Note that travelers arriving from certain countries may still require a visa, depending on their nationality and travel purpose.
Our Recommendation
Before traveling, confirm that your intended airport or port accepts NZeTAs and check for any recent policy changes from New Zealand immigration authorities that could affect your entry.
A Quick Tip
Carry a printed or digital copy of your NZeTA approval along with your passport when you arrive, as border officers may ask to verify it during inspection.
