Some eVisa applications require a clear image of your passport’s biographical data page: the page with your photo, name, and travel document number.
To avoid delays or rejections, follow these tips to ensure your upload meets destination requirements:
✅ Include the Entire Page
Make sure your image shows:
- All four corners of the page
- The country name at the top
- The machine-readable zone (MRZ) at the bottom
- All text, numbers, and images are clear and without obstructions
Do not crop, cover, or blur any part of the page.
💡 Use Good Lighting
- Avoid glare or shadows by turning off the camera flash
- Use natural light or a well-lit indoor space
- Whenever possible, use a scanner for the clearest results
📸 Ensure High Quality
Check your image for:
- Blurriness or pixelation
- Low resolution or poor focus
- Smudges, reflections, or document warping
If your image is unclear, your eVisa may be delayed or denied.
🔍 Don’t Forget the MRZ
Many travellers leave out the machine-readable zone (MRZ)—the long strip of characters at the bottom of your passport page. It might look like random numbers and letters, but it contains essential travel data used by immigration systems.
