You will not receive a printable Cuba eVisa document because the eVisa is issued electronically with a personal code, not as a physical card or PDF.
What You Need to Know
Unlike the old Cuba Tourist Card, the Cuba eVisa is not delivered as a paper document. Instead, travelers receive an approval email that includes a personal eVisa code. This code is your proof of authorization to travel. To complete entry requirements, you must use this code when filling out the D’VIAJEROS form (https://dviajeros.mitrans.gob.cu/inicio) within 7 days before arrival. Once submitted, the form generates a QR code that you must present electronically or in print upon arrival in Cuba.
Our Recommendation
Don’t worry if you don’t see a traditional “printable eVisa document.” Instead, keep your eVisa approval email safe, note your eVisa code, and complete the D’VIAJEROS form to obtain your QR code. Carry both a digital copy and a printed backup of the QR code to avoid issues at the airport.
A Quick Tip
Save your eVisa code and QR code in a secure folder on your phone and also keep printed copies with your travel documents. This ensures smooth entry even if you experience internet or device problems.
