If your travel date to Brazil changes, you usually do not need to update your eVisa as long as it is still valid during your new travel dates.
What You Need to Know
A Brazilian eVisa is typically valid for several years, depending on your nationality (5 years for Canadians and Australians, 10 years for Americans). Changes to your travel date generally do not affect the validity of your visa. However, if you entered the wrong arrival date when applying and the application has not yet been submitted to the government, sherpa° may be able to adjust it. If your new travel date falls outside your eVisa’s validity period, you will need to apply for a new one.
Our Recommendation
Contact sherpa° as soon as your travel dates change, especially if you haven’t yet submitted your application. We’ll help ensure the timing is correct or advise if a new application is needed.
A Quick Tip
Always verify that your eVisa’s validity period covers your updated travel dates before departure to avoid issues at the border.
