A Kenya eTA is valid for entry through all major international airports, seaports, and designated land border crossings into Kenya.
What You Need to Know
Travelers with an approved Kenya eTA can enter the country through major airports such as Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (Nairobi), Moi International Airport (Mombasa), and Kisumu International Airport. Approved seaports and designated land border crossings, including Namanga, Malaba, and Busia, also accept the Kenya eTA. Some smaller or remote border posts may not process eTA entries, so travelers should confirm in advance. All designated ports are listed on the Kenya eTA application.
Our Recommendation
Before traveling, verify that your chosen point of entry into Kenya is an official border control location that accepts eTAs. Check for any recent updates from Kenyan authorities to avoid delays.
A Quick Tip
Carry a printed or digital copy of your eTA approval along with your passport when arriving at the border, as immigration officers may ask to see it.
