If your travel date changes, you will need to check that your Kenya eTA is still valid for your new arrival date.
What You Need to Know
A Kenya eTA can be used as long as your arrival date falls within the validity period listed on your eTA document. For single-entry travel, an eTA is typically valid for 90 days from the date of issue, and for multiple-entry travel, it can be valid for up to 5 years. If your new arrival date falls between the “valid from” and “valid until” dates on your eTA, you do not need to reapply. If your new date falls outside this range, you will likely need to apply for a new Kenya eTA to avoid entry issues.
Our Recommendation
Check your eTA document whenever your travel plans change to confirm that your arrival date is covered. Contact Sherpa° for assistance if your travel date falls outside the eTA validity window.
A Quick Tip
Always verify that your eTA’s validity period aligns with your updated travel dates before departing to ensure a smooth entry into Kenya.
