A UK eTA is valid for entry through all major international airports, seaports, and land border crossings into the United Kingdom.
What You Need to Know
Travelers with an approved UK eTA can enter the country through any official port of entry, including major airports like Heathrow, Gatwick, and Manchester, as well as ferry ports and the Eurotunnel. There are currently no known restrictions on specific entry points for eTA holders. However, if you are entering from the Republic of Ireland or another part of the Common Travel Area, different rules may apply.
Our Recommendation
Before traveling, verify that your point of entry into the United Kingdom is an official border control location that accepts eTAs. Check for any recent updates from UK authorities that may affect your entry.
A Quick Tip
Carry a printed or digital copy of your eTA approval along with your passport when arriving at the border, as immigration officers may ask to see it.
