Travelers can only re-enter Kenya on a Single Entry Kenyan eTA from Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania, or Uganda.
What You Need to Know
A Kenyan Single Entry eTA allows re-entry only from Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania, or Uganda.
You must have stayed within these countries and return to Kenya within the period of stay granted on your initial entry. Re-entry from any other country is not allowed on a Single Entry eTA.
Our Recommendation
Plan your travel to ensure any return to Kenya comes directly from Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania, or Uganda. Verify your travel dates align with the period of stay granted by the Kenyan government.
A Quick Tip
Keep a copy of your eTA approval and passport handy when crossing the border to help ensure a smooth re-entry process.
