If your travel date changes, it's important to check whether your new date still falls within the validity period of your Indian eVisa. If it does, no changes are needed. If it doesn’t, you’ll need to apply for a new eVisa.
What You Need to Know
Indian eVisas (Tourist and Business) are valid from the date of issue, not from your travel date. Tourist eVisas are generally issued for 30 days, 1 year, or 5 years, while Business eVisas are valid for 30 days from the issue date. You can confirm the validity by checking the “e-Visa Issue Date” and “e-Visa Expiry Date” listed under "e-Visa Information" in your approval.
Your revised travel date must fall within this validity period. If it does not, or if you have not yet applied, please contact sherpa° and we’ll help you adjust the timing or submit a new application.
Our Recommendation
Inform sherpa° as soon as possible if your travel plans change, especially if your new arrival date is earlier than expected, to avoid any issues with processing or validity.
A Quick Tip
Always double-check the “e-Visa Issue Date” and “e-Visa Expiry Date” listed under "e-Visa Information" in your approval to make sure they cover your revised travel dates, ensuring a smooth arrival in India.
