A Vietnamese eVisa is valid for entry through select international airports, land border crossings, and seaports in Vietnam.
What You Need to Know
Travelers with an approved Vietnamese eVisa can enter the country through official ports of entry, including international airports such as Noi Bai International Airport (Hanoi), Tan Son Nhat International Airport (Ho Chi Minh City), and Da Nang International Airport. The eVisa is also accepted at designated land border crossings like Moc Bai (Cambodia), Lao Bao (Laos), and Huu Nghi (China), as well as at key seaports. Entry through smaller or remote border crossings may require a different visa type. All accepted ports of entry are listed during the application process with sherpa°.
Our Recommendation
Before traveling, verify that your point of entry into Vietnam is an official border control location that accepts eVisas. Check for any recent updates from Vietnamese authorities that may affect your entry.
A Quick Tip
Carry a printed or digital copy of your eVisa approval along with your passport when arriving at the border, as immigration officers may ask to see it.
