The Tanzanian government is experiencing delays in processing eVisa applications. While we are actively monitoring all applications and escalating where possible, your eVisa may not be approved before your scheduled departure.
Can I still travel to Tanzania without my eVisa?
Yes. Most travelers are eligible for a Visa on arrival, which is available at major ports of entry in Tanzania. This means you can still enter the country and continue your trip as planned.
Will I need to pay again at the border?
You may be required to pay the government visa fee again when obtaining a Visa on arrival. We recommend bringing at least USD 100 in cash per traveler to ensure you’re prepared.
Can I get a refund if I use a Visa on arrival?
If your eVisa is not approved before you travel and you choose to get a Visa on arrival instead, please contact our support team after your trip. We’ll review your case and assist you accordingly.
How will I know if my eVisa is approved in time?
We are monitoring your application and will notify you as soon as we receive an update from the Tanzanian government. If your eVisa is approved before your departure, we’ll send it to you right away.
