My eTA was approved, does that mean I can travel to Canada now?

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Government of Canada has put in place a number of measures, including travel restrictions, to protect the health and safety of Canadians.

If your application for an eTA was recently approved, it does not necessarily mean you are approved to travel at this time or are guaranteed entry into Canada. The Canadian government is continuing to process applications so travelers can be ready to travel when the restrictions are lifted. Please check out Sherpa's travel restriction tool for information about the current travel restrictions.
